As we are committed to protecting the privacy of our platform's users, Twasol works to safeguard the information belonging to merchants and users in accordance with the privacy policy and confidentiality practices applied on the Twasol platform. This document informs you that this policy applies to the Twasol platform, so please read it carefully β by using Twasol, all of your information becomes subject to this policy.
1 Definitions
- Twasol Platform: refers to the "Twasol" platform owned by its owners, and this definition covers all forms of the Twasol platform on the internet, whether a website or an application, in all its online forms.
- Merchant: refers to any merchant who owns an online store on the Salla or Zid platform and connects their store to Twasol through the official app.
- Customer: refers to any person who contacts the merchant's store via WhatsApp and interacts with the AI assistant provided by Twasol.
- AI Assistant: refers to the AI-powered assistant that Twasol provides to automatically respond to the merchant's customer inquiries.
- Personal Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, whether directly or indirectly.
2 Data We Collect
Twasol collects the following categories of data, in accordance with the principle of minimum data necessary to provide the service:

3 How We Use Your Data
Twasol uses the data it collects exclusively for the following purposes:
- Operating the AI assistant and automatically responding to the merchant's customer inquiries
- Enabling the merchant to manage their products, orders, and customers through the Twasol dashboard
- Sending notifications related to store activity (new orders, low stock, incoming reviews)
- Improving service quality, diagnosing technical issues, and preventing misuse
Merchant or customer data is never used for any marketing purpose outside the scope of the service without explicit consent.
4 Sharing Data with Third Parties
Twasol does not sell its users' data to any party. Limited data is shared only with technical providers necessary to operate the service, kept to the minimum required:
- Salla / Zid: via the official API, based on the merchant's direct commands from the Twasol dashboard
- AI service providers: to process conversation content and generate the AI assistant's replies
- WhatsApp service provider: to send and receive actual messages between the AI assistant and the merchant's customers
- Cloud infrastructure providers: to store account and settings data securely and in encrypted form
We may disclose specific data if required under a judicial or regulatory order issued by a competent authority within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
5 Data Security & Protection
A core security point: the access token for the merchant's Salla or Zid store never reaches the user's browser or any external party β every API request passes through a secure server-side gateway that first verifies the merchant's identity, and the token itself remains stored in encrypted form exclusively on our servers.
- Encryption of all connections via HTTPS
- Identity verification on every request that accesses account data
- Passwords are never stored in plain text β they are managed through certified authentication systems
- Mandatory security checks before sharing any sensitive details (such as order status) with a customer contacting the store via WhatsApp
6 Data Retention Period
Twasol retains the merchant's data for as long as they actively use the service. Once the app is uninstalled from the merchant's store, access to their data is stopped immediately, and the stored data is deleted within a reasonable period, unless applicable regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia require retaining it for a longer period.
7 Your Rights
- Uninstall the app at any time from the Salla or Zid control panel
- Request full deletion of your data stored with Twasol
- Request a copy of the data linked to your account
- Edit your account data directly from the Twasol dashboard
8 Cookies
The Twasol website uses essential cookies to run your login session and remember your preferences, and we do not use them for external advertising tracking purposes.
9 Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to keep pace with service developments or regulatory changes. Any material update will be published on this page along with the update date, and your continued use of the platform after publication constitutes acceptance of the changes.
